Hello 2026. You snuck up on us with a sparkle, a clink of glasses, and that familiar “Right then, let’s do this” feeling.
Before we sprint head first into the new year, fuelled by optimism, strong coffee, and a healthy disrespect for January diets, we wanted to pause and reflect on 2025, a year that was equal parts learning curve, creative burst, and “well… that didn’t go to plan, but here we are anyway.”
A Little Look Back at 2025
2025 taught us a lot. About running a growing marketplace. About patience. About perseverance. About how many browser tabs one human can realistically have open at once.
It was a year of:
- New products and bold ideas
- Learning what works and what absolutely does not
- Supporting independent makers and small brands doing brilliant things
- Late nights, early mornings, and the occasional “why is the website doing that?” moment
Most importantly, it reminded us why Hawk & Peddle exists. To champion creativity, give small businesses a place to shine, and build something meaningful, slowly, thoughtfully, and with heart.
And Now… 2026 👀✨
Oh hello there, ambitious little year.
2026 is about growth, but the good kind. The kind that’s rooted, intentional, and still feels human. We’re dreaming bigger, planning smarter, and rolling up our sleeves with purpose.
This year, we’re setting our sights on:
- Growing the marketplace and welcoming more incredible makers
- Expanding our collections with thoughtful, joyful products
- Telling better stories about the people behind the products
- Improving the experience for both shoppers and sellers
- Being braver, bolder, and just a tiny bit more rebellious
In short, bigger, better, brighter, without losing what makes Hawk & Peddle Hawk & Peddle.
